YONG connects European industrial companies with a verified factory in the Shanghai region — specialising in custom, small-batch components. No trading company. No markup. No forwarded emails.
Most failures aren't manufacturing problems. They are communication problems.
A translator converts words. A partner understands intent. We review your drawing, flag potential issues, confirm material availability, and give you a realistic timeline — before you've committed to anything.
When something changes, you hear from us first.
High-volume factories have minimum order quantities that make prototyping and low-volume production uneconomical. That gap is exactly what YONG is designed to fill.
| Order type | Typical MOQ elsewhere | What YONG supports |
|---|---|---|
| Prototype / first sample | 500 — 2,000 pieces | Sample run — no volume minimum |
| Design validation batch | 1,000+ pieces | 100 — 300 pieces typical |
| Low-volume production | 2,000+ pieces | 200 — 500 pieces |
| Urgent replacement order | Often declined | Assessed individually — we try |
Small-batch orders are not a compromise for us. They are what we are built for.
Many European industrial companies aren't looking to switch their primary supplier. They're looking for something more specific: a reliable backup for the orders their main supplier won't take.
Your primary supplier handles volume. YONG handles everything else.
50–200 pieces to validate a design before committing to production volume.
Your primary supplier has a lead time problem. We assess whether we can move faster.
Supply chain risk management — a second verified source for critical components.
Your current supplier said no. We look at it properly before deciding.
Our manufacturing partner has been producing cold-coiled springs for industrial clients for over 10 years. They handle what standard catalogues don't.
Materials sourced to your drawing specification. Fixed supplier relationships ensure batch consistency. Material certificates available on every order. Toll processing accepted — we work with your supplied material.
For high-requirement applications, we don't move to full production until samples have passed inspection. For every batch, we apply the same discipline.
Every spring is inspected against your drawing specification. Tolerance control is our baseline, not an upgrade.
Material inspection certificates provided on request. Fixed supplier relationships mean consistent incoming material quality.
For applications requiring cycle life validation, we conduct fatigue life testing before batch production approval — a capability most small factories don't offer.
Customer visits and third-party inspections are accepted without restriction. We have nothing to hide.
We've designed our process to be the opposite of a black box — transparent at every step, with proactive updates before you have to ask.
If your drawing is outside our capability or the timeline you need isn't achievable, we tell you in our first response. We would rather give you an honest answer that loses the order than an optimistic one that damages your project.
Email your drawing, photo, or description. No forms. No sales portal. Direct.
We review with the factory: feasibility, material, tolerances, timeline. Issues flagged now — not after production begins.
Feasibility, recommended material, realistic lead time, and clear pricing. No surprises later.
Factory produces to your drawing. We inspect dimensionally before shipping. Photos sent with every sample batch.
If dimensions need adjusting, we go back immediately. Multiple revision rounds are normal and expected at no extra charge.
After sample sign-off, production begins. DDP to your door available — no customs surprises.
No production commitment until you've tested and approved.
See the equipment and meet the owner before placing any order.
Drawing problems flagged before production — not after.
Sample revisions due to our misunderstanding are on us.
SGS or your preferred inspector supported on any order.
China produces some of the world's most capable custom manufacturing. Walk into the spring factory in Nantong — in the heart of China's Yangtze River Delta manufacturing cluster, one hour from Shanghai — and you will find machines that have been running for a decade, workers who know the material behaviour of 65Mn steel by touch, and an owner who will tell you immediately whether your drawing is achievable or not.
The problem is that this factory has never had a way to communicate that capability to a procurement manager in Stuttgart or Milan. Not because of language — there are translators. But because of something harder to fix: the ability to have a real engineering conversation across a cultural and logistical gap.
"That gap is what YONG is built to close."
I work in AI and technology systems. My day job is building systems that make complex processes clear — removing noise so the right information reaches the right person. Applied to manufacturing, that means one thing: making sure what you need and what the factory can deliver are actually the same thing, before production starts.
I am not a manufacturing engineer. But I have spent time on the factory floor. I know what the equipment can do. I know where the constraints are. When I give you a timeline, it comes from that knowledge — not from a sales team's optimism.
YONG starts with springs. If we can make the process work reliably here, the same approach works for any custom industrial component.
You don't need a complete specification to reach out. Here's what helps us give you the most useful first response:
DXF, PDF, STEP all work. Fastest path to an accurate quote.
A clear photo with approximate dimensions is a perfectly good start.
We can often reverse-engineer the spec from an existing reference.
Application, rough dimensions, quantity. We'll ask the right questions.
Send it. We'll tell you honestly whether we can do better.
Send your drawing and we'll come back with a real assessment — not a form reply.
yong@yongmfg.comWhat is your minimum order quantity?
It depends on spring size and complexity. For small-diameter springs, 200–500 pieces is typical. We give you a specific number after seeing your drawing — not a standard answer.
Are you a trading company?
No. YONG is a single person with a direct relationship with one verified factory. There is no markup on materials and no intermediary between your enquiry and the factory floor.
Can I visit the factory?
Yes. Factory visits are welcome. If you cannot travel, we offer video walkthroughs — you can see the equipment and meet the owner directly.
What if the samples aren't right?
We iterate. Sample revision due to a misunderstanding of your specification is part of the process — not an extra cost. We move fast on revisions.
Do you handle shipping and import duties?
Yes. We can ship DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) so there are no surprises at customs. We can also work with your freight forwarder if you prefer.
Can you match a sample I already have?
Often yes. Send us the sample or clear photos with measurements. We will assess feasibility and give you a direct answer — usually within 24 hours.
